So many new, talented modders have appeared recently that I've been forced to upgrade my older models just to keep up with the ever increasing quality standards!
Just kidding! I've been quietly taking notice over the past months of most of your comments and suggestions about my buildings, so I decided to make a major upgrade to all my models and release it almost at once. I will upload the upgraded files in their corresponding thread, too, but I didn't want to start "spamming" the XLEX with all my updates so I'm opening this thread.
The changes you will find are:
- Overall improved textures
- New details added to rooftops and base
- Added specular and reflection maps making them look more realistic
- All buildings can be plopped on water
- Buildings look better at night thanks to Montoto's excellent illumination shader
- Added some night effects thanks to chemist8897's explanation on motion blurs
- Filesize is much smaller now after following modders' guide specifications
- Triangle count within specifications, especially the L4 view around 100 triangles on most models
Update: all models include Lightmap now, which gives a nicer touch

I remember saying that I would not make a second version of this model. Oh well, here it is! I was never proud of it, so I made this one from scratch with a more realistic color. It's less of a "green monster", now.

The file size is much smaller now and it looks much brighter at night.
LOW RISE OFFICE PACK
The mythical Low Rise pack gets a face-lift, too. Improved rooftops and better night lights.

The Willis Sears Tower gets better glass reflections:

Another building that I redid from scratch. Better textures, detailed rooftop, lush gardens and a fancy entrance! this was done thanks to Altiris' awesome Layout creator tool!

Improved filesize, added new details and a fancier night illumination. Cut down triangles in the L4 view big time!
This is how the buildings look in the L4 view - horribly efficient! your large cities and your computer will thank this upgrade!

INSTALLATION
Download the files you want and place them in your PAK folder. To avoid problems, make sure you delete the v1.0 buildings from your cities before you remove the old files from you PAK folder.
