    AUTHOR WORK COMMENTS:

I started this city about 2 years ago, playing slowly from time to time. Zoning was a forbidden option for this city, every building was plopped manually.

    SHORT HISTORICAL DESCRIPTION:

Two towns (Ambrosia and Tiberia) were founded during the dark ages on the two islands in the region. The islands offered a safe place against dangers and disorders of these dark periods.
Also river and sea offered routes for commerce development.
Later, during renaissance period, the better position and larger land space made Ambrosia to grow faster and bigger than Tiberia, and 5 minor towns were founded too (Rapello, Vestana, Estavia, Agricate, Zolino).
Actually Ambrosia is the national and regional capital.

    4/5,
I love the diversity of the landscape. It's neat seeing what other people have done with the delta map. It funny seeing where we had the same ideas about land use. I also put expensive houses along the east beach. My downtown was located on the coast though.

    5/5,
The city's layout is very cool, the plaza with the cathedral looks very authentic, I like that a lot. I'm not so sure about mixing so many different types of buildings, while it does look nice it gets a little kitsch and historically confusing. But this is a game and it's about imagination and creativity :D

    Four stars!
Very good job! I do like especially the RHM system, very smooth and almost no white parts showing up. Also, the viewing axes (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, ...) look well planned, shows me that you got a lot of skills!

    Your harbour also is magnificent!

My critique is that your choice of buildings at parts was not that wise, at least in my opinion: the effect of the Eiffel Tower vanishes when you put many skyscrapers around. In Paris, except for one, any other tall skyscrapers was placed outside.

Also, you historical quarter looks very mixed. Amsterdam buildings here, Latin Pack there, German Pack, and so on...
Maybe focus on one or two packs first, that will give a consistent look ;-)
