I present to you my first mod. I always thought the beach pack had some nice buildings, but they lack a base which make them unusable if not used on a beach. At least if you like to have a nice city. So i started bringing these buildings to the city.
What I Did
The collection
- I duplicated all beach buildings which in my opinion have a place in the city so they show up in the corresponding menu in game
- I made the collision box smaller so you can make your own base with plaza's and furniture
- I changed textures of some buildings so they fit in better in a city area
- I changed the layout files so you won't get palm trees with every building
1. Hotels, i converted 4 hotels, you can use them to build a vacation park by combining them like in the picture, all found in the holiday hotels menu
2. The Supermarket, i changed the texture from Beach Supermarket to Spar Express, found in the small shopping menu
3. Small shop, was already in the shopping menu, but it's a beach building and lacked a based
4. Another small shop, found in the small shopping menu
5. A motel, found in the Business Hotels menu
6. A Restaurant, found in the Entertainment Leisure menu
7. My favorites, a snack bar, an Ice Cream bar and a Coca Cola drink stand, I added the Coca Cola textures
8. A Warehouse, found in the manufacturing Industry
9. A Small and a Medium Power Transformation Station, found in the power menu
10. A Small and Medium Waste Recycling Plant, found in the Waste menu
11. A Hospital and a Police Station, found in the corresponding menu's
CLM Plugin
The excellent CLM mod already converted some buildings, but they still didn't have a base, i changed the layout files and colission box for these buildings, this plugin is optional and recqruis CLM.
In the Future I may do the Ski pack also, but that one recqruis more work because all the snow textures have to be changed.
