The city isn't finished, the game lags and crashes often when loading. But nonetheless i have many pics, despite there are huge unfinished areas.
Canal City is located at the western end of the Pretego Canal, an artificial freshwater canal connecting North Western Ocean and the Azulian Sea. The canal reaches from western Goa Bay to Pretego river at the eastern end of the canal. It was completed in 1884 and leads through about 10500 ships every year. Since more than 100 years it gets continually modernized and more secure. The Pretego canal is also the border between the states Cyta Goa and Coastland.
The city itself is an industrial city, founded in 1855. Until the late 1880s Canal City was rather a small and insignificant town. Since completion of the canal it quickly got established as an industrial hub. Many workers of the canal and the rising harbour lived here. During the last 50 years also other sectors grew, tourism and financial sector got more important.

The area is prospering. A new stadium and a new event center are under construction. Also, the city hospital and a very important tunnel exit/-entrance to Durdam Island are located here.

The Pretego Canal is the largest industrial complex of the country. The main cargo ship traffic between (Northern) Europe and North America crosses the high tech canal. 4 lanes, 2 in each direction, allow an efficient processing. 2 lanes can also be merged together to make a wider channel for bigger vessels. There also is a famous bridge crossing over the canal, the Millenium Bridge, completed in 2002. From the top of it one can have a great view at the canal and see very very far. The bridge is a touristic hub.
The canal all in all has 9 sluices from Goa Bay to its highest point and another 4 down to the waterlevel of Pretego River. The length of the canal is about 211 kilometres.

The camping ground near Canal City is a popular place to relax and enjoy the nature. There are an artificial lake, a small marina and even a small landing strip for ultralight planes. Lots of opportunities for making sports like golf, water skiing, soccer, swimming and jogging, and enjoying other leisure-facilities make this place to a crowded and alive hot spot. The camping ground has its own water supply and emergency generator.

The Durdam Waterfront is a brandnew district on Durdam Island (former an old industrial port area), finished in 2012. The main attraction is the new harbour with its promenade and marina. Also: Oculus Event Center, Durdam Mall, Atlantis Comfort Hotel, Durdam Sky Mast, The Knight Palace, Horizon Medical Clinic and other sights.
