Tutorial How to build a fully functional elevated Tram

This is an idea how you can build a working elevated tram system

What you need:
Pedestrian Paths By Uokiok V1.1
Low Bridges for the NEXL Tram 2.1
NEXL - Trams
What I recommend to use additionally:

Everything else what YOU need to build a beautiful elevated Tram system

At first you need to know, that it will take some time to build a perfect/beautiful station without any "bugs"
this station took about 90-120 minutes to build:

But we have time, so lets start... :bigsmile:


At first build a street, tramway or whatever you want at groundlevel:


Then choose a 30m bridge you like (you can also use a 15m bridge) and built it at a "middle" height as shown in the picture below across the street:
That will be our elevated tram station.


After that select uokioks pedestrian bridges (10m or 15m) and connect the bridge to the ground:


Then connect all pedestrian paths, it will mess up your bridge but thats ok


If you wish to have stairs, update the pedestrian paths NOW, or it will mess up your bridge again


After that delete your bridge


Build your bridge again CAREFULLY. It has to be even/smooth


Delete the parts of the bridge you dont need and update the bridge to "wide paved tram line" (or if you use a 15m to "simple tram line")


Then select a 15m bridge you like and build the elevated-tram-treck



You may have noticed that you can see through the bridge pillars


I could not find a way to avoid this bug so my clue is to use Eano's Wall Collection



If you like you can add some custom furniture like benches, a metro-interchange or an "elevator". Be creative!



Now build your elevated tram system, you can also build turnouts


And update the bridges to "simple tram line", "wide paved tram line" or whatever you wish to have


Once your elevated tram system is complete, build a tram-terminal and create a tram-line


Finished!
So be creative and hopefully we will se some beautiful elevated tram systems soon
