Hello Everyone!
Here I present you my latest work for CitiesXL!
This is my first attempt at making houses for cities XL. So I only used 1 model for the house, but changed the colors and the base of houses to give a more diverse feel. I'm planning on adding more houses, once I'm done with school.
There are 3 classes for each house. The houses can be found at Residential Tier 1 of Skilled, Executive, and Elite. At first, I thought, I should put all the houses to just one class of residents, but then I realized, if I wanted to place more houses, I would need to add more jobs that require those residents. So instead, I decided to add the houses to all, except unskilled.
Colors of the houses are White, Blue and Brown.
These houses are very small! Elite is 16x16, Executive and Skilled are 14x16 (OMG THEY"RE UNEVEN SHAME ON YOU!) Well I'm trying to keep things as close to the real thing. Japanese houses tend to be very small, and packed tightly to one another, and they certainly do not occupy a 40x40 base perimeter. Also Japanese Houses tend to have walls around their houses and small windows. Japanese love their privacy!
The Elites have a courteous 16x16 lot, with enough space for private parking, and a regular sized backyard
The Executives, have normal 14x16 lot, they have enough space for parking in the front, but relatively small backyard.
The Skilled, have also a normal 14x16 lot, but does not have parking, and they rely on on bikes, the lack of parking does however, provide a slightly bigger backyard than Executives.

P.S These houses look best when packed tightly together, and use pedestrian paths and small streets for best results!
