Hi! This is Klaupio - a city, that I started to create in CXL 2011 and never finished there. After upgrading to XXL, reproducing and finishing Klaupio was my first project. Here it is:

Klaupio is a city in my imaginary land Selioarkesson, the country of Regrana. It's the administrative centre and the largest city in Skertūre - one of Regrana's six districts. With 197000 inhabitants it's the 7th largest city of Regrana. The name Klaupio is inspired by a nice city Kuopio in Finland.

Klaupio has a technical university and it's the IT-centre of Regrana. There is a Pacman square dedicated to computer gaming in Klaupio . The city is located relatively north, having 21 hours of sunlight in june and only 3 in december. The average temperature in july is 15-20 degrees Celsius and -10-0 in january. The maximum temperature ever recorded is 29,4 and minimum -30,9.

Transportation
There is a small airport in Klaupio with regular flights to Dāgren and Jerbīna. The state highway 2 (Dāgren-Klaupio) ends and 5 (Irklava-Klaupio-Piltene) passes through the city. There is a railway connection to south-east (Piltene) and south (Dāgren-Briēnu-Jerbīna). There are 9 bus lines in Klaupio.

I also want to provide you a little information about my country Regrana:

I have had an imaginary area of countries for a long time. The area is called Selioarkesson (Selian area = Selian zone) and it initially had 3 countries (=states): Selia, Yqrkotessandia, Suprossandia. In 2013 I added Regrana as a 4th one and it is now the largest and the most populous country in Selioarkesson.

Official language: The western dialect of Sēlinki (A language that I have constructed since 2003. You could call it Selian language in English)
