CJ Sunday Harbor

A small, northamerican community

Hello community,

This is Sunday Harbor, a small town in north America, located on a lovely island.
I did this map about 2 years ago when CXL 2011 came out, so I only used very few mods on this map.
I drew quite some attention to the details. As you can see, its only a small village surrounded by forest and water. I wanted to do something different to all the overgrowing megacities that are normally build in CXL.

Due to the well known fact that the game heavily lags when a city goes over a certain size, I only populated the island between tha channels. Forests on the surrounding banks would probably cause my computer to explode, sorry for that

I rated 5 stars this small town, has I think it's worth it in this category. The city core is just big enough and the rural/tourists atmosphere is great.

Seems like a place for ideal vacations.

As for ''the lag'', I have a small solution I use often: I find it's not ''the game'' that lags but rather the ''menu'' as it keep all loaded(menu you open) in RAM memory. What I do is I shut the game down back to the main menu after I loaded many menus in game, and it reset the RAM in game. Then I'm good to go for a while with no lags.
