The island of Tenang is situated in the tropics of south-east Asia. It has a long history of different populations, which can be seen mostly in its main city Kotarawa. Today's city was built on a former swamp and shows several buildings of Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic and Colonial architecture. It is also the seat of the provincial government, an important trading post and an excellent holiday destination...
