First of all, thank you moders once again for making this game so enjoyable and creative.

But for f.ck sake I will give up from "Focus creative". EVERY city i built cant be finished cause of multiple unknown errors, bugs, etc.

My last city Hanholm was almost done when it crashed, other 2 cities that i built were smaller then Venega. Thats why i didnt post them on CJ.

But I decided no metter what to make this CJ cause I think Venega deserves it. Had some great plans and projects for this one but could pull them off thanks to unstable game.

There is no special story for the city cause its way smaller then it should be. Plan was to make him go through whole costal line and growing up from the centre of the city to the map end. Genova was inspiration.

    5/5,
Hi! Finally someone makes a good CJ, well planned and well executed. I specially like the port area and the layout design, only would change the main buildings in order to make them look more Italian Classic style city. Anyway you've got a beautifull example of south european city plan here. Lets see how the outskirts grows and the city became bigger...

Congrats for your job and keep studiyng the cities you like to reproduce in the game, it's the only way to make good and real examples which I like most!

    Cheers

Unfortunately I said in my journal that Venega is no more. City has crashed and thats why I made this CJ. Its not what i planned cause I dont like "unfinished " cities, but I didnt have choice. Ty for 5 stars !

    5/5,
I am Italian and I must say that you did a very good Italian job! I mean the mood is really Italian. I do not know if you "abuse" of using Photoshop, but I like it! I've only a question for you: I see a bell tower in the skyline that sounds very very Italian. Where did you get it? Did it come from the Florence package available as a mod? If not, can you gimme a hint about it? Thanks

Hey hou ! Ty very much on your coment ! :) In PS i always add natural sky, sharpen picture, playing with cloud renders and mixing with contrast, light, glow. I also like to add cars ( black brush is the key :P ) in far distance that game cant show. So no abusing in a way to " add " urbanistic elements.
I like to study every city that motivates me for my work. In this case that was Genova. I watched documentarys, studying street layouts and elements that make that city unique. Also learned that to make realistic city it needs to be chaotic and "unplanned" in some way, thats really hard to achieve.

And for the bell tower, thats just high density office that comes with the game, so nothing special but fits good :)

      Ty once again, cheers !

    5/5,
My five is not for the city but instead the photoshopping you've done. Your city building in this one isn't as cool to me as your past work, but it's as good in quality so no complaints on that either. I'm not gonna critique it other than give what I 'feel' about it anyway. haha! It's not academic. That photoshopping though... gosh, these are my favorite shopped pics of XL so far.

What a shame that such a beautiful City crashed.
I still hope you will find the one trick to get it back.

Your highway network as well as your street layout are gorgeous, albeit the latter sometimes is a tad little bit to "squary" :)

The harbour is impressive, it looks truly realistic in the sense that added a lot of details I had wished that you did. Good Job hence!

One really has to reckon that you show a high sensitivity for details and realism, and I really love looking a the photos!

Ty mate ! Yep, such a shame :( I tried every solution to get it back but it cant be done, unfortunately.

Street layout is "squary" cause i built mostly only centre and wide centre area that have geometrical layout, didnt have luck for other :/
