    These maps looks great! Now, how do I place a connecting road to the "outside" in the World islands map? I see the purple area but there is no land by the border to place the road.

    Strange, there should not be a road connection (purple) border showing on this map. I don't think it is a problem though other than causing confusion.
    On island maps, ports and airports provide the "inter-city" connections.
    There are a few mods also that help to improve the freight and passenger capacities.
