Hello, 28 year old male here.

I really like city buildings game and I purchased Cities XL platinum when it was 75% off on Steam. However I then discovered that there was an issue with only one CPU core being used. I heard that issue made cities practically unplayable after a while so I didn't play the game.

However I heard Cities XXL has solved that problem so i'm going to get that at 50% off on Steam. I tried SimCity 2013 but I found the cities waaayyy to small. I like the Tropico series, i'm sure I will really like Cities XXL.

If the game is good i'll be a regular post on here 3>

    Welcome to the site!

About the whole "one core making the game unplayable," that's more of an exaggerated rumor than an actual fact; although the game certainly lags more on some machines more than others. But certainly, making the game multicore is a step in the right direction. We'll see how much is improved performance-wise.

    Welcome

CXL runs fine for me usually, probably because I don't create cities with more than 2 million inhabitants.

btw. Which city/region are you from?
