I am importing my model from sketchup but some face get sliced into several faces....

    x1.JPG x3.JPG x2.JPG

it should be a one square, how to merge them?

and my 3dmax zoom and panning goes really fast, if I zoom in it will go through the object, so I can not see detailed my object..I have to click zoom extend selected every time, how to make revert it to default?

    thank you for response...

    ah sketchup model?

Some are made really bad and have multi faces, lines and vertex.

All you can do is find those and delete them, recap any holes.

That happens when the mesh is triangulated. All the polys are turned into triangles. You could fix most of it by welding all the vertices and then using this script:

    http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/quadrangulate

Technically it should work, but considering it's an imported model it could fuck up part of the geometry. If it doesn't work, you would have to select all those edges and remove them manually.

If that building meets T1 specifications regarding texture sizes and polycount it's ok.

yes it was 512x512 texture, ...and how to count the triangle of one lod object, it currently count the total 4.
and it was the triangle right Monty...not the polygon we should see
    Thank you Monty

unfortunatly i dont know a way to show furniture in the viewer...
just center your building in the scene and try it out.. (ingame)... might be annoying sometime.. but hopefully someone else does know a way^^
you mean the facing of furniture? well they are all (?) facing to front by standard, then just spin them into the right direction and use ur imagination
