    I put this in the skylines general forum by accident so posting it here now.

    I have a brass letter/symbol I'm going to sell but do not know the meaning. I think it's Japanese.
    Can a Japanese member (or anyone else who speaks Japanese) help in the meaning?

    Hello, I'm from Taiwan.
    This letter is a Chinese word "壽", which means "lifespan" in English.
    It's often used in traditional birthday bouquet in East Asian society.
    The word is pronunced "shòu" in Chinese.
