CJ ACHILLIUS - UPDATE: HARBOR QUARTER & TRAMREMISE

This is the tramremise and tramservice depot of ACHILLIUS. MORE PICTURES in the OVERVIEW tab.

I finished a new city Quarter - Havenkwartier (Harbor-Quarter). The olders harbor of the city - most of the industrial buildings are during time replaced bij residentsbuildings. Some of the old buildings still remail. Even a small Abbey one can find in het Harbor area. SOME MORE PICTURES ON THE MAIN-PAGE!...

I started in 2012 bij building the locks and flevum, wich are not on this picture.
As you can see on this overview picture the canal system is almost finnished. For your orientation one can find the earlier posts in the picture - I added some names...

The city expanded and now had 1.280.000 inhabitants. The tram and metro system also expanded. There are several tram lines and 5 metro lines. Most of the innercity is pedestrian-area. The public transport system is needed tot keep the city running.
The metro-system one can find on the main page of this journal. Here is the update of the tram system and both systems (trams and metro) in one picture. The bussytem I have to add to the picture.

The South Gate, Watergate and the Quarter ´Waterpoort (Watergate).
In the Overview tablet one can find all the Pictures. In the Middle ages the South gate and water gate were the main entrances to the city for people and boats. The Watergate-quarter was a fortress in 1300 and became a part of Achillius later on.
