The integration of Greyton into the National Rail System was completeted without major issues. A few people were scared for the new steam locomotives were very noisy and people feared the immense speed, but in the end the Modernists pushed their plans through.

Greyton's first train station was constructed near the old Kings palace making the neighborhood more attractive for business people. This lead to an increased construction of new buildings including first but small high rise buildings.

At the beginning of this period the plans for the bridge connecting Omega with the rest of Greyton were put aside. Landlords and port authorities were reluctant to agree to the plans including land reclamation which would lead to the destruction of their property.

It took quite some time before the plans for the bridge were brought back. After a big fire destoryed nearly the whole harbor area of Bethesda Greyton's authorities lead by the Modernist Faction proposed again to connect Omega with the rest of Greyton via bridge.

Of course their were rumors accusing the Modernists to be responsible for the fire leading to an investigation. But in the end no evidence was found and the Modernists involvement in the Big Fire was never cleared. Despite the rumors and the investigation revolving the fire the harbor landlords gladly accepted the plans, land reclamation started and at the end of the period the bridge was completed. It was called Bethesda Bridge.

The newly created harbor areas around Bethesada Bridge became a hot spot for factories and their workers leading to increased immigration into Greyton.

Thus Greyton's authorities put forward plans to build settlements in Hofzar and Omega and allowed construction of residential buildings in the harbor area.
