    Hi folks,

here we go with a small update. San Cristobal made some progress, as you may see. Today, we'll get a little closer to San Cristobals Malecon - its famous shore promenade.

In the first two pictures we have a little overview on Malecon. It connects a lot of different parts of the city. From west to east we start at Harbor District on Plaza de San Marco, this is, where Avenida 9 de Julio (left) hits Malecon (right)...

…and we'll pass Centro with the famous Catedral Metropolitana.

From east to west, we got a nice view from the old harbor fortress on Malecon

The fortress is already in what will be the district Valeda - home of the famous Hotel Nacional...

…but all that soon. Now just take a deep breath of the salty air here on Malecon. See you soon…

    saludos
