    Hi, the game crash at the startup... :(

    Get the latest UIM V1.79 installed properly and the custom tag file added.
    I was playing with the previous Seawalls & Water Roads Pack with no problems....
    Tried to remove the file from the pack folder but it keep crashing at startup... (why?) o_O
    I play the Platinum version in English language.

    What I have to do to see the crash log and ask for help?

    you have not added the tags file correctly - the last line proves this. Download the file tags.cfg again and allow it to overwrite the existing file. If there is not an existing file then you have not installed the UIM to the correct location. If this is the case then re install UIM to the correct place as listed in the instructions.

    I did download the file tags.cfg again and allowed it to overwrite the existing file. But it continues to crash. I already tried to reinstall the UIM but it did not solve the problem.

    It started to crash yesterday when i downloaded the new Seawalls & Water Roads Pack mods. So i put them at the pack folder and ran the game. The game worked but i didn't see differences with the previous Seawalls & Water Roads Pack (the holes at the Intersections still remain). So after this i downloaded the file tags.cfg and allowed it to overwrite the existing file at:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Cities XL Platinum\Data\Config"

    I thought it would able the new pack to work.
    But after did that the game started to crash...
    What can it be?

    I am not sure what patch you are now refering to. This thread refers to the 15M esplanade Road with Marina option for PLatinum. That has been updated for CXXL as an all in one compendium, the Platinum version works just fine.

    The seawall & Water Roads pack is an older pack that is for PLatinium only and to be honest has pretty much been superseded by the Esplanade Compendium. I have not yet updated this patch for CXXL.

    I did not update the localisation files for the Seawalls pack . if you are playing in another language rather than English then that could be the cause. Otherwise , sorry I have no further ideas. The vast majority are getting it to work just fine.

    I can't solve the problem. Don't know why. I decided to reinstall the game and all the mods again but with more attention this time.
    But thank you for your help and congratulations for your amazing work doing this great mods!
