@skullz613, really love your city, albeit I do miss some big ass highway bridge over that little bay, maybe you can add a junction southwards of the downtown and then add such a bridge? I mean, all the offices need to be filled quickly with people
Also, I hope your monorail stations will offer access to bus or tram lines, too?

Just built a mixed-use industrial area. It looks pretty nice from my perspective. Some places are made ladder-shaped because I combine two pics (I know it's not allowed in the final submission but it's a good way to exhibit your work at least)

 

Good work but try to diversify it a bit more, it's not only the size that matters

Thanks kip! That ploppable coal stuff looks pretty nice.
And right above the industrial area there'll be a harbor and some railways, so it would look even nicer and richer if the area is finished. I think that the real diversification would begin to show if the harbor is finished. The harbor would not be that big but I bet it would look nice

The gap between container area and the port is inspired by Yangluo Port, Wuhan, China.

 

But there is land area in between the cranes and the water? How will ships get close enough?
Maybe start again with more patience, you have enough time left You can do it, just with more patience

I seem to get the idea, to put the harbor on water then use quay to surround it. I'll definitely remake the dock area.
Also, should I remake the storage area on the shore or add some deco? Thank you!

 

I didn't have much time to progress, but I definitely did my best to improve my RHM connections.
See the ex-Communist Party Headquarter in Albenovo and the old town in the background (and I know those offices keep on complaining about the lack of passenger resources though the passenger connection is superb!):

I've been busy dealing with RL shit lately, that's why i didn't take part in this contest, well i don't know, maybe i got some free time next month...
Anyway I've been already working on this map for a while actually, let's hope and see if i could finish my city and change my mind, join in this contest on time
