Kazan Cathedral in SPB

Principal shape for part 1 is ready.I'm starting to complicate it soon.

 

Unwraping of part #1 is done.

 

At last the work is reaching the end.

 

The mod is finished. Only one thing is left it is a lot of sculptures and before official release i have to try to make them. But i'm not sure if i get any success of it and how long it take. So here is a mod without sculptures XLN_immortal_admiralteystvo_v0.9.patch
There are 7 parts under landmark menu custom and nocollision button

 

My next project is The Big Catherine Palace.
A little bit of history:
"The creation of royal residence in place of the estate began in the 1710s and continued in the 1720s. In 1733,Empress Elizabeth commissioned Mikhail Zemtsov and Andrei Kvasov to expand the Catherine Palace. Empress Elizabeth, however, found her mother's residence outdated and incommodious. She as a real woman liked all fashionable and beautifull and often changed her mind, so building was rebuild many times and the last one on 30 July 1756 the architect presented the brand-new 325-meter-long palace to the Empress, her dazed courtiers, and stupefied foreign ambassadors.
The palace is popularly associated with next Russian Empress - Catherine the Great, she actually regarded its "whipped cream" architecture as old-fashioned. When she ascended to the throne, a number of statues in the park were being covered with gold, in accordance with the last wish of Empress Elizabeth, yet the new monarch had all the works suspended upon being informed about the expense. In her memoirs she censured her predecessor's reckless extravagance:
"The palace was then being built, but it was the work of Penelope: what was done today, was destroyed tomorrow. That house has been pulled down six times to the foundation, then built up again till it was brought to its present state. The sum of a million six hundred thousand rubles was spent on the construction. Accounts exist to prove it; but besides this sum the Empress spent much money out of her own pocket on it, without ever counting"."

 

Yes, it's going to be a lot of work but most sculptures on the facade in a baroque style i will have to leave only as pictures to fit the triangles count. And some parts of the facade are repeating, it also makes a little bit easier the work.
