Hmm, I absolutely suck at the Mystery Cities, I think I've only ever got one correct and then I found out someone had already got the right answer so I was too late!
However looking at the street signs, the type of stone used in the buildings, the roofing material and the shape of that black car parked by the hedge, I 'm guessing it's somewhere in Australia.
I think some town in northern New South Wales or in Queensland.

Sooooo... I think this city is probably in Queensland and the building with the clock was probably the town's main post office in the past or even the town hall but the building next to it has me baffled.

I have to admit that as strange as it might sound, the colour of the sky also made me think it was possibly in Australia (or South Africa but the black ute in the parking bay decided against South Africa).

 

Queensland is good. Old post office is good. The other building is the old court house.

All these deductions deserve a new hint: the mc is a low rise city.
