More good clues would have been that Novorossiysk is the country's main port on the Black Sea, it's the leading Russian port for exporting grain, it's one of the few cities honored with the title of Hero City , or that it has a Population of 241,952.  It looks like an interesting city.

The clues that I have given may be good for someone and not so good for others, although I try to avoid being too obvious clues, the reason of the game is to investigate a bit. For example, if there is a picture with a warship, has a certain logic, that the city is on the coast and not inside land or near a narrow river.
