That's ... not the front view of a town hall, right? Maybe looking from the left side?

So, @heonetsung , @ryankoo and all the others who want to guess the city:
Maybe, maybe have a look at the flag ;)
Also, the city has less than 500,000 inhabitants.

    @kipate
Well, everyone knows some countries in the world set up some kind of "firewall" to filter the infomation to "protect" the security of the nation. Many like google, youtube, twitter, facebook, are not accesible. Perhaps if you post the image with a URL that wouldn't be the original size but only a 180*100, which is exactly I see in this mc. Anyway, I love this game and it can't stop me from continuing this idea.

You say the picture was 180x100 pixels?
But, can you click on the image to enlarge it?
It should be arround 1096x543, though.
Also, it should be rather clear on which continent
the city was located, given the road signs for instance ;)

Neither clicking nor opening in a new tab works. Tried different explorers yet still no luck. I guess that's something to do with the damn "firewall". Thanks for the tipping though. People here are all very kind ( =∩ω∩= )!

But that is strange, I did the same thing as always, used the same
techniques as always, it should work...
Well, I have not the time for searching for something else yet.
It was Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
    Someone else may post...

Stay calm, it work with others but not me and heonetsung, may be in our countries the government control the internet too much then there are some effect on the internet.
How about the other huh, can you view the original size of the picture?

I usually post the picture to imgur.com then link it to the forum instead of directly upload it to our forum.
Anyway, just do as you always, no need to care about the minority :)

Three pics just to make it easier. Forget about the watermark bottom right. That's just a forum I steal the pictures from:p

I'm living in Ho Chi Minh City (Ho-Chi-Minh Ville) and I confirm that this is not my hometown :)
This MC city has population nearly 2 mio, but HCMC has 8 mio, and HCMC has French style structure, but in pic 1 i don't think it is French style.
And hint for you: the Arena in pic 2 used to host some FIFA World Cup matches :sneaky:

@JuanAcadé You are right. Go ahead buddy!
Explanations: The square in 1st pic is Praca Sao Sebastiao, with Theatre Amazonas on the right. I think the patterns on the ground with black-white-waves are very Portugal as I saw in other cities like Lisbon and Macau; The 2nd pic is the Manaus Stadium which holds part of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The 3rd is where Rio Negro River meets the Amazon River. That makes me think of the junction of two rivers or river meeting a sea.

Is that a lake? The water surface seems too placid for an open sea.
