I am very happy to hear all of your positive support, especially you mods and admins who aim to help us build a community. Once we're closer to launch I am sure we'll get into discussions on how to optimally handle mods :) Right now things are a bit too undecided to figure this out.

The map editor looks really good! I would love to make a map with rivers, lakes and sea/ocean. I hope that mayors can only put sewage into the ocean and cannot pump water out, unless desalination plants are planned. I might even make a map of the Seattle Area!

As Snick wrote. It looks both profi and user friendly. It reminds me a little bit the map editor from Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. It was awesome on that time.

Just a few questions about the map editor.

-What's the overall map size, including non playable area?

    - Is there a limit to how high the mountains can be? So far we've only seen small stuff.

-Can textures be imported in the same way as heightmaps

    - From the screenshots we've seen the textures look pretty bland. So can we paint the textures or is it automatic based on height and slope?

I've probably got more but this will do for now.

Finally a city simulator with nice mapping tools :)

Seems like somebody is fed up with the limitations of the cities xl mapping tools :p
Well, that mountain/waterfall in the trailer looks pretty high.

In the new thread the say "At the heart of Cities: Skylines is how the individual citizens and goods move around the city. Citizens have a name, age, a home and a workplace, unless they are students at the university or too young to work."

What about the old and sick they shouldn't have a workplace assigned?

From CO: old people retire at some point, people with very low health can't go to work but show as a worker at their workplace.

Yeah, all these old guys, they should sit in front of their
computers and play Cities:Skylines the whole day.
Anyone really old here who can confirm?
@IcyHot or maybe someone else who was old?
    :D :D

Indeed, very professional, a better "god mode" we couldn't of hope for :)

Totally moo, is the game in beta already? when do u push it out? please be quick.. you're gonna publish upgrades anyway, because judging by the looks of everything, the game looks amazing. Me wants it now. When do you wrap it up?

And hey, as far as I've heard, XLN would like to be among steam one of the places where players can share/upload they're mods. Cities Skylines will have it's own sections and all in the future. The community is a bit skeptic about CXXL..
