Hey @Project_Oz :) Thank your for your very kind words, you make me blush :giggle: :D

I think you are more or less right with your observations. I would like to add some points:
As you said, it's not possible, due to the part not being in line with a 45° angle. I would have loved to add more trains, though. On the other hand, it would have been odd if everything was in a 45° angle :D

Well, it really depends on the region, and the city's history. For example, San Francisco lacks any large railway yard, although it is considered the most important city in the Bay Area in California. This is due to the hilly terrain - any large logistics hub is located on the other side of the Bay Area. You can have a look at the huge freight train terminal in Oakland. It takes a large portion of the port's area.
Another example: If you look at the city of Rockford, IL, you will not find any large railway yard in the nearby area. The city has never been a center of heavy industry, so there was no need to install such railway yards. If you look at Peoria, IL, you will find a railway yard just on the other side of the Illinois River. Peoria has been a hsitorical center for agricultural machinery (harvester etc.), hence there was an incentive to distribute those machines via freight trains. But: Peoria today has only 115,000 inhabitants (with Rockford having about 150,000), and even at its peak, it only had like 130,000 inhabitants.

So you see that the size of the railways is really depending on a lot of factors. Nicaumenee is located on Lake Michigan, at the closest stretch between upper Wisconsin and upper Michigan. So there was first initiative to transport goods on the lake during the summer months. This resulted in a shipping industry, which resulted in this belt railway - to put it very shortly :D

Once again, thank you for your kind words. There will be another update :)

Wow! Beginning to remember why I loved this game. Your city is masterful, Kipate. I like how the regions flow. Visually striking, to say the least.

Thank you @veija2 :) It took me a while to create the final look. And I think that some parts are still looking too simple, but it would have taken too long to revamp everything :D

    Welcome back!

Hey @riscoo thank you for your kind words! I think you are searching for an unfinished bus station by DrazicDesign. The link should be in his project page, I think it is this one:
    Drazicdesign Project

If it does not work, maybe @Drazicdesign can re-upload it :)
