The "Gonaives[戈纳伊夫]" City Building Contest

I don't know, I mean, on the one hand, my personal preference was a little delay of
the end, on the other hand, given that two people already have submitted their entries,
this was probably unfair...

Hey, it's just fun. . . and besides. . . a competition always has this "deadline" thing where compromises must be made. . . i am sure with such a wonderful map we will all be tempted to continue city building on it, even after the competition deadline. The map is what made me get in this and it's one of the most beautiful maps i have played on. . .

On the other hand, i have already submitted but i have no problem with giving more time if that is what the majority wants or needs. . . it's pure fun and again, if i had the time i 'd play with this map for centuries.

For those trying to finish and take some shots. . . remember: a competition always has a deadline. . . i deal with this in my real life, deadlines everywhere lol. . .

In the game and not the real world we have many tools to "finish" a city even if it's not finished. A city may take six months for me to get finished anyway, i don't think we have these time frames here.

Close-up is a good idea to avoid "holes", fillers are the other idea in-game to close holes.
Clouds, some collage, fog all are post editing ways to cover holes, sincerely though even in game someone can "finish" things without the need for post editing.

Be creative and have fun fun fun. That's all about it and also about presenting a concept, not necesarilly a perfect, finished product.

Hope these help. . . don't forget: close ups, fillers, parks, farms. . . w2w are the most difficult to finish but there are ways to get it done there too.

Fun is what counts.

My A/C went out over the weekend - bad news in a Florida summer. A/C guy says to vacate for a day or two ... nothing like pushing a deadline.

Hopefully you can fill the gaps there soon,
and I hope that A/C will be working soon again...

I don't know exactly why but I getting more and more excited on it, new thoughts keep coming out of my pumped up cerebellum as the deadline's closing in. And I suppose this is a good thing?

I think I have "finished" my city- as far as I'm going to go for the submission pictures. Who or where do I send the images and how should they be packed please?

@ObelicS - I had to reload the map in the beginning, but no problems with it since then. At 2 mil, I'm getting some serious lag, but that's not map.

I have to admit that I meanwhile changed my entry (and had IcyHot delete my old entry),
so the industrial part will look more finished now, and there are also more shots...
