    Hi all,
    I'm really hoping to salvage this city for the current competition, can anyone help explain why I'm getting a crash. City is at around half a million, priority set to realtime, could this be an issue with my system? Thanks in advance for any help.

    I did ask if XL or XXL but noticed the top lines of the log.

    I see multiple errors with actor files and the trailers.
    I remember having a similar error a few years back but I'm not sure what caused it. Might of been one of the truck parking areas.

    Don't think that's you main cause though.

    I got a lot of errors the other day (I clicked on a Chinese building thumbnail and then the game crashed) and did not find it was the building for a while. The errors made no sense. Think most were caused when the game crashed as they had nothing to do with the actual building mod

    Have you tested every building/mod in you mods folder?
    Even I have a handful of buildings I have never used. Mainly Chinese ones that have not suited any of my cities yet.

    You could have an old XL one in there that's not compatible with XXL

    I did have a few buildings that cause crashes that I removed, unfortunately these are some of my favorite buildings in the game, the old NYC Deco high rise hotels and office buildings. I did bring in some XL buildings that were tagged compatible with xxl and the problem could be with those. Just prior to this crash I had placed a few Nike office buildings and some of the newer T2 Office buildings with non-standard footprints, I'll have to run a test with them on a different map.

    Make sure you don't have any XL mods that are not for XXL. Some old XL mods have been fixed for XXL.

    No easy way as far as I know.
    That's why it's important to store the mods you download in an organized way somewhere on your PC with descriptions or notes etc...
    I have all mine in a folder structure similar to the resource download area so I know what is what. Each mod has it's own folder named the same as the posted title and I even save a copy of the webpage so I can see better info on the mod.

    Back to finding the XL mods. You can ignore all the mods that begin with XXL or have XXL in the file name. There are a few XXL mods that don't have XXL in the file name so you will just have to check the info on them in the resource area.

    Pull all the XXL mods out and stash them in a folder on the desktop. Run XXL and make a new city for testing. Now just try laying buildings down until the game crashes. Try each one and make sure to scroll in and out after you place a building as it will possibly trigger the crash. It's done that to me before.
    One building that was a problem for me would crash the game as soon as the buildings menu icon was clicked, It would be fine until it was selected then boom. Instant crash and shut down of XXL.

    You may even have a old plaza that has not been fixed for XXL. Not sure on how the crash happens with those as I've never had it happen to me.

    Its possible that I never updated but not super possible as I've rage-deleted my entire mods folder a few times. I'm referring specifically to the hotels and smaller buildings, but not the brick walk-ups.
