    Looks wonderful, Luis!
I really like that you did stick to low rise buildings all the time, and only
have landmarks being the tallest buildings in some large areas!
My only criticism would be that you don't have some really densely built old town...

Nah, I thought of the area within the walls, it is rather of low density...
And the street layout consists mostly of 15m and 25/30m wide roads
    in the other areas...
Look at the (rather) small town of Bamberg, it has a dense medieval core:

Maybe for the area within the walls, work with karaaib's CB mod for medieval areas...

Ah okay, i see your point. Thanks for the tip. I don't have any room left in this map, but will surely consider it in another city.
I guess latin expansion and german pack, no collision version, would fit well to that pourpose.
I will actually keep this photo for further inspiration, altough my plans for next city are way different from this concept.

Looks good so far. Very nice.

@luis diogo, I like the gracious, spacious feel to your layout. I think you could build up the density a bit in the core area and it would still work well.

    Thanks for the input Veija.
Which core area are you talking about?
The old one or the more modern? Because this last one will definitely have more density.

I'm guessing I mean the old one - first photo? You have some nice avenues at good intervals already. Is traffic an issue in that area?

Nope, traffic flows pretty well, after placing some bus lines. No metro though.

I do like to play a balanced game and i take into account population satisfaction. Overall satisfaction, with some bonus buildings like Kodak theatre or San francisco Museum, is between 98 to 99% in every class. It's a very good result for a city with 1.3 million people (in the end it will have around 1.5 million).

I managed to get police and leisure with satisfaction between 98 and 99% in every class, which is pretty good since i'm not wasting resources.
Education is 100% in all classes, so it's clearly over budgeted.
Health is above 90% in al classes, which is pretty good.

My biggest problem is fire protection (97,88,84,79 - unskilled, skilled, executives, elites). I can't seem to raise it further. Any tips?
And off course retail is a problem with elites. Right now is 98,96,92,86, still a very good result, taking into account it's on green in resources panel.

@luis diogo. I'd say that's a good result! I like to play a balanced city, too. I've found that fire satisfaction is like business hotels and retail - unless you're actually lacking adequate coverage, dissatisfaction is caused by traffic. As in, fire trucks can't get through ... I'm guessing your fire stations are effected by the bit of traffic blockage you have. I'd think about widening those two east-west cross streets, and the diagonal one on the right that looks blocked. I think your satisfaction levels for retail aren't bad at all. It's a great city.
