This is not for the Edzo competition, but rather a city (Sarıburgaz) with which I have been preoccupied for like almost 7-8 months (of course with some intervals )

After the suggestions for Erdemli for building a marina to make it more realistic, I did build the marina below, mostly used by the fishermen of the town. Too bad the fishing season is not open yet...

 

Working on a new project (Al Khadra), still at early stages. a World mix; Asian, American, Middle Eastern and a European styles to be blended into one place.

Well, fellas. I wasn't active about my cities for a while. Just started new city project

 

I love the road layout, curvy and realistic. But I'd place some main artery line (i.e. at least a small avenue) to make it more realistic and facilitate the traffic flow. Of course if you have a historcal old town or some other sort on your mind, just ignore what I suggest.

 

But to be realistic doesn't have to be curvey, american and modern middle eastern layout usually adopt square blocks

 

Thank you for suggestions. In my mind, I want to build a town with Turkish approach I will try to build some historical buildings.
I hope I don't screw up.

 

Here's What I've been working on: It's actually one of my most loved cities on CitiesXL, Maverick close to 3.2Mil Pop. This area is a sub city named Quille i'm working on with Maverick in the background
Highways around Quille, the Quille Expressway runs through the heart of the city.
Maverick International Airport (Owned by MQTA), Where the Quille Expressway, Darvin Alta, and Airport Way(unfinished Stub meant to be HW - X29 - ) Meet.
